2023 FIRST World Championship

Jack landed in Houston, TX with his mentors Tuesday night before the event and activities start the next morning. He started at the event by checking in for his assigned volunteer role. Jack volunteered as a judge advisor assistant where he will be helping the head judge, Mrs. Jill, and other judges in the Ochoa and Jemison divisions through out the week by organize materials like the team engineering portfolios and by inputting data into the spreadsheets for awards. As the week progressed, he helped the judges prepare for the award ceremonies and even got to hand out a few awards during the ceremony.

Overall a fun week with getting to meet teams from all over the world and to see how each team tackles the same challenge through different ideas and perspectives.
